About ATLÂNTICA
The ATLÂNTICA - Associação dos Resorts, Hotéis e Empresas do Turismo do Alentejo Litoral (Association of Resorts, Hotels and Tourism Companies of the Alentejo Litoral) is a private, non-profit association that brings together companies in the tourism sector operating in the Alentejo Litoral. The association is made up of resorts, hotels, restaurants, operators and service companies linked to tourism, which share a common vision for the territory: qualified growth, environmental sustainability and institutional responsibility. ATLÂNTICA was born out of the realisation that the development of the Alentejo Litoral requires strategic coordination and structured representation of the business sector.

Our Reason for Being
The Alentejo Litoral is undergoing a structural transformation driven by tourism. Investment, international projection and the qualification of the offer have positioned the region as one of the most important emerging territories in the country. This growth creates significant economic opportunities, but also collective challenges: territorial planning, infrastructures, environmental sustainability, housing and professional qualification require strategic coordination and institutional responsibility. ATLÂNTICA was created in response to this need. To structure dialogue between companies and public bodies, align positions and contribute to a balanced, sustainable and long-term development model.

Our Role
ATLÂNTICA represents Alentejo Litoral tourism companies and acts as a structured interlocutor with regional, national and European organisations. Its role is to ensure - Qualified institutional representation of the sector - Strategic co-operation between companies, local authorities and institutions - Technical input into planning and regulatory processes - Valorisation and sustainable positioning of the territory The association exercises business leadership with territorial responsibility, promoting solutions that strengthen the region's competitiveness without compromising its identity.
